Our venetian finishes are of the highest quality and all products we use are imported from Italy.  We pride ourselves in using state of the art products to assure the finest finishes.

• Rasatura - Rasatura is a lime based decorative finish and its texture is a glossy smooth surface - Extra Fine. It is used as a Decorative interior finishing coat.

• Marmorino - Marmorino contains limestone grout, i.e. open cast limestone, which reacts with air and hardens via the carbonation process. These coating produce finishes with shaded effects unlike uniform shades produced by synthetic paints. In addition the mineral nature of limestone coatings makes them permeable allowing remaining moisture in the masonry to leach out. The texture of Marmorino is a soft and velvet-like (imitating marble when polished with an inox trowel) It is used as base coat for Rasatura, "Venetian Plaster". Fine grained smooth finish coat, "Marmorino Plaster"

• Intonachino - This plaster finish is uniformly rough with slight variations in color intensity typical of lime-based products. It is intended for either interior or exterior surfaces. It is highly breathable, naturally mildew resistant, and has an excellent drying capacity.

• Lime Wash - Lime Wash is ideal for coating Marmorino or other aggregate type stuccos and plasters, such as cement or lime stuccos. It is used as an enhancing coat of color. Lime Wash can give soft translucent color variation to plaster, or it can be applied to where the original color of the plaster is radically changed. Although it does not seal like an oil-based sealer, acrylic, or wax, it does add a layer of protection. Lime Wash can be polished to a soft rich shine or can be left as flat, natural finish.. It can be used like a glaze, leaving pockets of color in rougher patches of the underlying plaster, or can also be used as a medium for murals.

• Base Coat - The base coat has a coarse or sanded tooth for the Venetian plaster to stick to. Dry and sand lightly with 100 grit paper and block to knock down any areas.

• Pittura - The base of this product is “magnesium-quality slacked lime putty”. This product offers moderate transparency and once applied will show moderate variations or shades of color depending on the color used and the technique used by the applicator. If burnished with a stainless steel trowel, the finish can take on a glossy shine. Pittura is a natural mold inhibitor paint used on both interiors and exteriors.

• Colorants – Marshall Fine Finishes will achieve virtually any color you desire. Colorants may be either standard or custom. We create unique custom ‘recipes’ for colorants and will match to your specifications.

• Waxes - We can also wax surfaces with a special breathable wax that can be polished with a rag after it has dried. The surfaces age gracefully over the years and needs little to no maintenance. 

• Sealants - We use a sealer that doesn’t change the beautiful look of the Venetian Plaster.
